Ethical Leadership: Balancing Authority and Moral Responsibility.
Benefits of being a humble coach with Msc
Applied Neuroscience, I happen to understand little bit more about the brain
and its wiring, to it helps me work with rewiring tools more efficiently.
Obedience or Blind Obedience to Authority? Why is ethical leadership important
and how does fostering a culture of collaboration, and encouraging independent
critical thinking affect the workplace? and the thin line between moral and
ordered actions?
Experiment:
Participants asked to deliver electric shocks to a stranger based on authority
instructions
Participants thought they were part of a memory and learning study.
A "learner" in another room (an actor) received supposed electric
shocks for wrong answers.
The shocks were fake, but participants were unaware of this
Result:
Even with visible distress from the "learner," many followed orders,
showcasing the powerful impact authority has on our decisions.
