The Abaya always
manages to hide that messy hair, casual dress, or save a rushed get-to-work
mommy moment—but who knew it could also align goals and build relationships?
Well, today it did—a first for us!
Working with Reem Abdulrahman J. Al-Muftah
is always an adventure in speed—whether it’s her quick pace around the office
or the rapid conversations or light bulb moments. Our intelligent yet different
approaches, which often feel like parallel lines, had a spirited debate as
recently as last Thursday.
All it took was a white abaya, and we came in peace... and despite our clear
differences in height, weight and movements.... I’ve been called Reem at least
3 to 4 times today, only for people to find out it’s Ayesha and same for Reem!
The parallel lines intersected today! Here’s to many more steps—whether fast or
slow—on our journey of making a difference together.
